Kenton Sands

Kenton Sands began his law career when he graduated Harvard Law School in 1985 and later was admitted to practice in New York in 1987 and Florida in 1990. Prior to joining Sands, White & Sands, he practiced with a law firm in New York City, followed by a law firm in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He then joined the U.S. Department of Justice as a trial attorney, focusing on the prosecution of tax and financial crimes. He returned to private practice in 1994 before joining our firm in 2003.

Now, at Sands, White & Sands, he is active in litigating a wide variety of personal injury cases, including those involving medical negligence and product liability. He also continues to represent defendants in white-collar criminal cases in the areas of tax fraud, bank fraud, securities fraud, internet-related offenses, mail and wire fraud, and other financial and business offenses.

In the past, Mr. Sands served on the nine-member Advisory Committee on the Local Rules for the Middle District of Florida and as a member of the Federal Magistrate Judge Selection Committee for the Orlando Division of the Middle District of Florida. He has received the highest possible rating, AV Preeminent®, from Martindale-Hubbell®.
